Can't make the trip?
Live online seats will be available soon on our online courses page!

Join us for this rare opportunity to learn how to use your JoolTool from the woman who invented it! Anie Jolie is coming here to the studio to offer live one day classes covering all the essential skills you need to make the most out of this powerhouse tool. In just one day, you'll learn how to grind, smooth, and polish metal; how to clean up and professionally finish a bezel-set pendant; and - as an option - get an introduction to using your JoolTool to finish stones, enamel, or glass. (Students who don't want to work with lapidary or glass will receive instruction on additional metals techniques.) Use one of our JoolTools or bring your own!

Separately, the purchase of discs is required, and registered students will receive a link to a private page on the JoolTool site offering them at significant discounts.

For essential metals, students will need:
  • 3" Purple ceramic discs, 80 and 120 grits
  • 3" Scratch eraser, fine
  • 3" Felt polishing disc with compound
  • (Optional) 3" Scratch eraser, soft fine
  • (Optional) Pink magic polishing buff
  • (Optional) 3M™ Radial Brush 3-inch diameter Maroon (220 Grit)
  • (Optional) 3M™ Radial Brush 3-inch diameter Blue (400 Grit) *

For lapidary and glass, students will need the hard and soft stone lapidary set.

And as an added bonus, you'll get 30 days access to the same videos our online participants will get... at no additional cost!

About Anie Jolie

Anie learned the jewelry trade from a very young age in her father's shop, where he supervised up to 20 full-time jewelers fabricating high-end custom jewelry. She has done everything from casting to fabrication to stone setting, and her attention to detail meant she was frequently assigned to polish and finish the most expensive pieces the shop produced.

In 2000, Anie invented and launched the JoolTool in response to her own need for a piece of equipment that would do multiple tasks in a small footprint. Its versatility was quickly recognized by jewelers, woodworkers and car enthusiasts, who were early adopters of the tool, and their requests and suggestions drove a lot of the early innovations Anie subsequently added to the line.

Today, the JoolTool is a staple in established jewelry production shops like Tiffany, Stuller, David Yurman, and James Avery, as well as small studios across the world. It is a required tool for the US Army's aviation maintenance facilities world-wide. Anie is a regular presenter at big trade shows like JCK, Tucson, SEMA, and more, and recently added The Makery's annual Holiday Open House to her regular schedule.

Anie lives and works in Los Angeles with her husband Yaro and their German Shepherd, Mingo.
