SAWTOOTH

For western North Carolina working artists affected by Hurricane Helene, Sawtooth will provide open studio time free of charge. Sawtooth has 16 well-equipped, professional studios in the heart of downtown Winston-Salem, and are happy to open them up for folks who need these resources while they rebuild and recover their own. Their ceramics studio will also offer free electric and gas firings to affected, full-time studio artists.

Artists are asked to fill out an interest form on their website, briefly telling Sawtooth about their work, process, experience, and needs. Their Studio Directors will work to find a suitable timeframe between scheduled classes and will coordinate directly with applicants.
